I came to Wenatchee Valley College in 2005 with a Master's of Education in Counseling Psychology from Washington State University and a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Bemidji State University. In 2008, I completed my Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus on Educational Psychology from Walden University. Throughout my education I have come to find that psychology permeates all aspects of our world and the most effective way to help students understand it is through active learning application. If you would like to know more about the topic of active learning please let me know as I have amassed quite a collection of research articles. As an educator you can expect that I am student-centered, set clear expectations, and provide constructive feedback to improve future work.
